Karen Leshkivich, D.V.M.

Dr. Karen Leshkivich purchased the Mattydale Animal Hospital in May, 2001.  She has been a member of its veterinary staff since 1995.  A 1994 graduate of the Veterinary College at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Leshkivich specializes in dental, reproductive and exotic medicine, especially rabbits, ferrets and reptiles.  Dr. Leshkivich enjoys breeding, training and showing championship Bloodhounds.  Her current pets include six bloodhounds, five cats and two parrots.

Thea Wallace, D.V.M.                                                                

Dr. Thea Wallace is a 2001 graduate of The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell.  Prior to veterinary school, she spent seven years managing a wildlife rehabilitation center, where orphaned and injured wildlife were cared for.  Dr. Wallace specializes in caring for your dogs and cats, and enjoys treating exotics and wildlife.  In her spare time, she enjoys growing houseplants, especially orchids, and spending time with her dogs, cats, fish and parrots.
